What we collect
When you submit the website enquiry form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, any optional message you provide, and basic submission metadata (page visited, timestamp and campaign parameters in the page URL). If you continue with a project, we may then collect the business, content, brand, domain, hosting and other website requirements you voluntarily provide. Please do not put passwords, payment-card details or account credentials into the message. If you contact us by email, we also receive whatever you send us there.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, explain the NZ$499 + GST opening offer, scope the website project and keep a business record of the enquiry. Providing these details is voluntary, but we cannot respond without a usable contact method. We do not sell enquiry data.
During a website project
Once a project is underway, we collect whatever content you send us to build the site — text, photos, logos and any other material you provide. That content is used only to build and host your website, stays yours, and is not reused for another customer's site or for marketing without asking you first.
Storage and sharing
When you submit the enquiry form, the details are stored in our website's encrypted key-value storage operated by Cloudflare and are readable only by us through protected internal access. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf and may store it outside New Zealand. A copy is sent to our verified owner email inbox and relayed through private workflow and messaging systems so we can see and manage the enquiry.
Website hosting for a completed project is with a third-party host we set up on your behalf; that host's own privacy terms apply to how it stores the live site. We don't share your information with anyone else except where needed to respond and deliver the service, or where the law requires it. We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and meet our business record-keeping obligations, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
No internet service is completely risk-free. We use reasonable safeguards but can't promise absolute security.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Standard server and security logs may record technical request information to operate and protect the site.
Access, correction and questions
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access or correction. Email hello@aucklandautomateit.co.nz with enough detail for us to identify your enquiry. We may need to verify your identity before releasing information.
You may also raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. We'd appreciate the chance to resolve it directly first.
