About these terms
These terms apply to the Auckland Automate IT website and, together with an accepted proposal or order confirmation, to services supplied by Auckland Automate IT Limited, NZBN 9429053815194. A signed or accepted proposal takes priority where it expressly differs from these website terms.
The NZ$499 opening offer
The opening offer is a fixed price of NZ$499 + GST (NZ$573.85 including GST) for a simple website of up to 5 pages, built around content and direction the customer provides. It includes one round of revisions on the built draft before launch, mobile-friendly responsive design, a working contact form, basic on-page SEO (page titles, meta descriptions and a sitemap), one standard available domain registration for the first 12 months, and website hosting for the first 12 months.
Premium, already-owned or unusually priced domains are not included unless we agree in writing. Domain and hosting renewal fees after the first 12 months are separate; we will confirm the renewal option and price before anything becomes due. The offer does not include e-commerce or online payment functionality, custom booking systems, professional photography or copywriting, extra pages, or ongoing maintenance beyond 30 days after launch — these can be discussed and quoted separately.
Content and turnaround
The customer is responsible for supplying accurate text, photos, logos and any other content needed to build the site, and for having the right to use that content. Delivery timelines depend on how quickly content is provided; we'll give a realistic estimate once we have it. Requests that materially exceed the agreed 5-page scope (extra pages, custom functionality, e-commerce) are treated as a separate, quoted piece of work.
Payment
Payment for the opening offer is due before the finished site is published live, using a payment method we confirm with you directly when the project is accepted. We do not take payment automatically through this website.
Ownership
Once paid in full, the finished website — the design and code we build for you — is yours to keep, move or modify. Hosting and domain service are included only for the first 12 months unless we agree otherwise in writing. Any third-party licensed components (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their own licence terms.
No guaranteed business outcomes
We build the site to a professional standard, but we do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, enquiries or sales resulting from it. Illustrative examples on this site (such as the mock website preview in the hero section) are for demonstration only and are not a specific client's work.
Cancellation and refunds
Either party may withdraw before work begins with no charge. Once design work has started, a reasonable amount for work completed may be retained if the project is cancelled partway through — we'll agree this with you before starting if it becomes relevant. There is no ongoing lock-in beyond the agreed project.
Acceptable use
The service must not be used to build a site for unlawful, deceptive, abusive or unsafe activity, or for content the customer does not have the right to publish. We may decline or pause a project that creates a material legal or safety risk.
